Gyeongbuk TP Recruiting 40 Companies for the "2026 Gyeongbuk Young CEO Intensive Support Program"

Targeting Young CEOs Within 3 Years of Startup, Applications Accepted Until March 13
Up to 15 Million Won in Funding and Tailored Consulting Per Company

Gyeongbuk Technopark (Gyeongbuk TP) and North Gyeongsang Province announced that they will recruit 40 companies to participate in the “2026 Gyeongbuk Young CEO Intensive Support Program” to help improve the survival rate and sustainable growth of young entrepreneurs in the province.

This program, carried out by the Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Support Center, targets young entrepreneurs aged 39 or under who have established their headquarters in North Gyeongsang Province.

In particular, this year the scale of support has been expanded to 40 companies, lowering the entry barriers so that young companies with promising items can establish themselves stably within the region.

The recruitment process is divided into two tracks: the “Intensive Track (20 companies)” for Young CEOs who have completed (graduated from) the “City/County Prospective Young Entrepreneur Development Program,” and the “General Track (20 companies)” for Young CEOs who have not gone through that program and have been in business for at least one year and up to three years.

The recruitment fields cover all areas of technology startups, knowledge-based startups, sixth-industry businesses, and general startups, and each selected company will receive up to 15 million won per company in startup activity funding.

Young startup companies can use the startup activity funding to carry out commercialization activities such as prototype production needed for product and service development, promotion and marketing, and certification support.

The achievements of the Young CEOs supported last year by the Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Support Center are also noteworthy.

Dode Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Dohyung, based in Gyeongsan), a 15th-cohort Young CEO company, is developing a PFPE oil recycling and localization solution for semiconductor processes, and has achieved results such as being selected as a star company at the Environmental Startup Competition, winning the President’s Award from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute, and advancing to the integrated finals of the Challenge! K-Startup competition.

The company has also successfully attracted a Pre-A investment of 500 million won through practical startup training and expert consulting, and is establishing itself as a leading young innovative company representing the region.

Applications and submissions from participating companies will be accepted until 6:00 p.m. on March 13, and young startup companies wishing to participate in the program can check the announcement for detailed information on the websites of Gyeongbuk TP and the Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Support Center.

Inquiries related to the program can be directed to the Gyeongbuk Youth Startup Support Center.

Ha Insung, President of Gyeongbuk TP, said, “The newly introduced, advanced curriculum centered on AI and R&D this year will serve as a solid foundation for our young companies to secure competitiveness in the global market,” adding, “Beyond simple financial support, we will establish a practical growth base so that young entrepreneurs can pursue their dreams and take firm root in North Gyeongsang Province through on-site, hands-on consulting closely tailored to their needs.”
