On the 19th, the day after the Lunar New Year holiday, the weather will be clear nationwide, with large differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, the morning low on the 19th will be at the seasonal average, ranging from minus 8 degrees Celsius to 2 degrees Celsius, and strong winds will make it feel even colder.

The atmosphere will be very dry in the east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province. Around the east coast, some locations may see instantaneous wind speeds of around 55 km per hour (15 m per second), while in mountainous areas, instantaneous gusts may reach up to 70 km per hour.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "The air will be very dry, especially in parts of the southern inland area of North Gyeongsang Province and the central and eastern parts of South Gyeongsang Province where dry weather advisories have been issued, and the air will gradually become dry in other regions as well," adding, "With strong winds blowing, even a small spark can grow into a large fire, so special caution is needed to prevent wildfires and all types of fires."
With clear skies across the country, fine dust levels will remain at a 'moderate' level in most regions.
Wave heights at sea will range from 0.5 to 3.5 meters off the east coast, and from 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the west and south coasts.
