The Korean men's short track national team has advanced to the men's 5000m relay final at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
On the 16th (Korean time), Korea secured first place in Heat 2 and booked a spot in the final of the men's 5000m short track relay at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, beating the Netherlands at the Ice Skating Arena in Milan, Italy.

Starting from lane 1, Korea settled into third place behind the Netherlands and Belgium. While exchanging third and fourth place with Japan, Lee Jungmin moved up two positions with 24 laps to go, pushing Korea into second place behind the Netherlands.
With 21 laps remaining, Lee Junseo, and with 11 laps remaining, Lee Jungmin both briefly took the lead, but Korea was immediately overtaken again by the Netherlands. However, with 6 laps to go, after Lee Jungmin reclaimed the lead, Korea did not allow the Netherlands to retake first place.
Korea advanced to the final with the fastest time of 6:52.708. The men's 5000m short track relay final will be held on the 19th. Korea, the Netherlands, Canada, and Italy will compete for the title.
