Chinese Woman in Her 30s Dies After Falling From Overpass at Jeju International Airport

On the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, a Chinese national died after falling from an overpass at Jeju International Airport.

According to the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters and other authorities on the 14th, a report was filed at around 2:44 p.m. that a Chinese woman in her 30s, referred to as A, had fallen from the overpass in front of the departure hall on the third floor of Jeju International Airport.

A was transported to a hospital by a 119 paramedic unit while receiving emergency treatment, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but died.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
