Sangju City Council Strives for Citizen Safety

The Sangju City Council in North Gyeongsang Province visited local institutions on February 12, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, to deliver care packages and encourage frontline workers who will be on emergency duty during the holiday period.

On this day, the council visited three institutions in sequence - Sangju Police Station, Sangju Post Office, and Sangju Fire Station - where they expressed their gratitude to the staff who are doing their utmost to protect citizens' lives and property and to deliver mail, presented them with care packages and offered words of comfort, and attentively listened to their difficulties and requests, wishing everyone a warm and pleasant holiday.

Council Chairperson Ahn Kyungsook said, "Because of all of you, we are able to spend a warm and pleasant holiday," adding, "We will do our best to build a safe Sangju City by strengthening cooperation with the relevant institutions."
