Shinhan Bank Wins Grand Prize in Financial Consumer Protection at Korea Fund Awards

Shinhan Bank announced on the 13th that it had received the Grand Prize in the Financial Consumer Protection category at the "2026 Korea Fund Awards." This marks the second consecutive year it has won the award, following last year.

The Korea Fund Awards selects outstanding financial institutions by having fund evaluator KG Zeroin conduct a comprehensive assessment each year of fund distributors such as banks and securities firms. The Grand Prize for Investor Protection is presented by the Korea Financial Consumer Protection Foundation to financial institutions that excel in complying with laws and regulations related to fund sales procedures.

Shinhan Bank received this Grand Prize in recognition of achieving first place overall in both offline and online sales procedure evaluations conducted by the Korea Financial Consumer Protection Foundation.

A Shinhan Bank representative said, "This award is an objective recognition that the culture of fully compliant fund sales has been firmly established across all branches," adding, "We will continue to enhance our protection framework so that customers can fully understand products at every stage of the sales process and make informed investment decisions."
