Emart Posts 322.5 Billion Won in Operating Profit Last Year... Up 585% Year-on-Year

Emart announced in a regulatory filing on the 11th that, on a consolidated basis, its operating profit for last year was tentatively estimated at 322.5 billion won, a 585% increase from the previous year. During the same period, net sales were 28.97 trillion won, down 0.2% from a year earlier. In the fourth quarter of last year, net sales were 7.3117 trillion won, up 0.9% from the same period a year earlier, and the operating loss was 9.9 billion won, narrowing from a loss of 77.1 billion won in the same period of the previous year.
