Wearable AI diagnostic monitoring company Seers Technology announced on the 11th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with PureHealth Group, the largest healthcare group in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for business collaboration on artificial intelligence (AI)-based patient monitoring.
With this MOU, the collaboration partner has been expanded to the group level, and Seers is expected to further strengthen its role and business status within the UAE digital healthcare market.
The two companies plan to sequentially implement pilot programs across the entire product lineup, including mobiCARE, a wearable electrocardiogram-based cardiac monitoring solution, thynC, an inpatient monitoring platform, and remote patient monitoring (RPM) solutions for home-care patients. In this phase, they will verify user experience, medical staff acceptance, and operational efficiency based on data collected in real clinical settings, and will identify potential bottlenecks that may arise during operations.
Seers is currently preparing clinical and operational deployment of its solutions, focusing on major medical institutions in the UAE, and operational validation in real clinical environments is underway starting with Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) under PureHealth.
Seers CEO Lee Youngshin said, "This MOU goes beyond simple collaboration and is highly meaningful in that domestically developed wearable AI medical technology has been recognized for its competitiveness even in the UAE, a leading global medical market." He added, "As the introduction of thynC is currently being promoted mainly at SSMC under PureHealth, we will gradually pursue commercialization that leads to actual supply and sales based on the outcomes of the pilot programs."
