JYP Entertainment announced on the 11th that girl group NMIXX will become the first K-pop act to take part in the Brazilian Carnival, one of the world's largest festivals.

At the Carnival held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from the 14th to the 18th, NMIXX will make a special appearance on the 16th at local artist Pabllo Vittar's block party.

The block party is a street festival that is part of the Brazilian Carnival. This is the first time a K-pop artist has participated in this event. NMIXX is determined to deliver a special sense of joy to the local audience on stage.

NMIXX and Pabllo Vittar released their collaboration track "MEXE" in August last year. Reuniting after six months, the two artists plan to present a performance that blends their MIXX POP sound with Brazilian pop. The song features lyrics in Korean and Brazilian Portuguese, along with Latin-style choreography.
