Gimcheon City Council Chair Na Youngmin Announces Run for Mayor of Gimcheon

Na Youngmin, chair of the Gimcheon City Council, officially announced his candidacy for mayor of Gimcheon in the nationwide local elections to be held on June 3, at a ceremony held in the main auditorium on the second floor of Gimcheon City Hall on the 9th.

Chairman Na stressed, "With the sense of responsibility I have learned over 35 years in the field, I will begin Gimcheon’s next leap forward," adding, "I will be a balanced mayor who focuses not on words but on action, who does not stay with the voice of just one side, but looks after the lives of all citizens."

He went on to say, "I will become a mayor who designs and puts into practice the future of Gimcheon: a living, dynamic Gimcheon; a city full of vitality where people’s footsteps and the economy circulate constantly; a city where seniors are respected and young people achieve their dreams; and, above all, a city where being a citizen of Gimcheon becomes a source of pride," thus formally declaring his candidacy.
