Guided by renowned cello artists such as Yang Yeongrim and Clara Minhye Kim, he grew as a musician and went on to perform with leading orchestras in Korea and overseas, sharing the stage with world-class conductors including Chung Myung-whun. Most recently, he has continued his active musical career by undertaking regional tours with the Korean National Symphony Orchestra.
The program for this Art M Concert includes works such as Sergei Prokofiev's "Cello Sonata in C major, Op. 119" and Dmitri Kabalevsky's Cello Sonata in B-flat major, Op. 71, pieces in which beauty shines even more brightly in darkness and leads listeners to discover hope.
Moon Taeguk personally chose the concert's subtitle, "The Receding Sky," and selected the repertoire to reflect his wish to explore a deep inner world before making a hopeful leap forward.
A Hyundai Pharm Art M Concert representative said, "This Moon Taeguk cello recital will be a precious opportunity for the artist and the audience to meet up close and communicate intimately," adding, "Through a special repertoire imbued with profound reflection and a message of hope, audiences will be able to experience the pure sound of the cello and a performance that resonates deeply in the heart."
