NH NongHyup Bank announced on the 8th that it recently held a pledge rally to promote inclusive finance at the NongHyup Training Institute in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, with the participation of heads of sales divisions from across the country.
NongHyup Bank explained that this pledge rally was organized to lay the groundwork for a major shift toward inclusive finance that provides practical financial support to small business owners, low-income individuals, and the most vulnerable groups who are struggling due to high interest rates and the economic downturn.
On that day, speakers shared the government's policy direction for promoting inclusive finance and discussed measures to alleviate financing costs for small business owners. Specifically, they announced plans to expand guarantee-backed loans and to introduce a refinancing service for loans to low-income business operators.
They also presented implementation plans such as launching new inclusive finance products to support the growth, recovery, and asset building of low-income and vulnerable groups, and promoting the expansion of the Sae-Hope Holssi Loan program.
Bank President Kang Taeyoung said, "Inclusive finance is the root and very reason for NongHyup's existence," adding, "Together with our sales divisions nationwide, we will provide the most needed financial services where we are closest to our customers and offer them practical support."
