Young carers are children, adolescents, and young adults who care for family members in need of support due to disability, illness, or aging, or who bear responsibility for the household livelihood. Previously, in November last year, Nexon Games launched the social contribution program "With Young Project" with the Nexon Foundation to support them, and donated 100 million won to ChildFund Korea.

This healing camp was designed to allow young carers to step away for a while from the burden of family care and spend time resting and recovering emotionally. Seventeen participants, including eligible teenagers and their siblings, were invited for two days of various programs such as experiencing the game development process, art therapy classes led by an art psychotherapy specialist, and a visit to an amusement park.

On the first day of the camp, Nexon Games invited the participants to its headquarters, presented them with honorary employee badges and welcome kits, and shared a meal together at the in-house cafeteria "Deundeun." The company also provided an introduction to the game industry and an orientation on the game development process. The participants experienced the game production process by watching demonstrations of how game sound is completed and recording character voices. Afterwards, they received a character video containing the voices they had performed themselves as a keepsake.

In addition, recreation activities led by a professional instructor and art therapy classes conducted by an art psychotherapy specialist were arranged to help participants achieve psychological stability and emotional release. On the final day, they visited an amusement park so that they could create happy memories.

Lee Youngho, policy chief of the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Task Force (TF) at Nexon Games, said, "The goal of the With Young Project is to ease the care burden of young carers and help them lead stable lives," adding, "We will continue to explore various support measures to promote their healthy growth."
