Simple Platform, which provides the industry-specialized AX platform "NUBISON," has released "NUBISON Data Lake" as data infrastructure for industrial AI transformation, based on years of experience in collecting, refining, and utilizing data in manufacturing, logistics, and energy industry sites.

The strategy is to aggregate scattered equipment and work data from across the field into one place, improving a structure where there was plenty of data but AI utilization was difficult, and to build an "AI-Ready Data" environment that can be used directly on site.

The biggest feature of NUBISON Data Lake is that it is specialized in collecting OT and IIoT data. It provides a structure that can collect data generated in factory sites from equipment, PLCs, and sensors in real time, while integrating with existing equipment without replacing it. This enables integrated analysis not only of IT system data, but also of process conditions, equipment status, and environmental data. The company explains that this forms the foundation for improving the accuracy of industrial AI scenarios such as predictive maintenance, defect prediction, and process optimization.

Its automation features for reducing the burden of data preprocessing are also a strength. By applying a Medallion architecture, it manages data step by step from raw data, through cleansing and standardization, to data for analysis and work use, and minimizes repetitive and complex preprocessing tasks through AI-based transformation automation. The transformed data is used not only for AI model training, but also in real-time operations such as dashboards, alerts, and process standard setting.

It also provides dedicated plugins for integration with major work systems such as ERP, MES, and SCM. By standardizing mapping based on data structures frequently used on site, it has reduced the burden of initial interface analysis and ETL development, and increased the speed from building the data lake to utilizing AI.

NUBISON Data Lake provides an end-to-end data pipeline that connects the entire process from data collection, loading, and cleansing/transformation to utilization in a single flow. Data is not just stored; it naturally extends from BI and dashboards, and API integration, to AI/ML training and inference environments, creating a structure that allows immediate expansion to AI operations once the data is built.
