HDC Hyundai Development, Operating Profit Reaches 248.6 Billion Won Last Year...Up 34.7% Year-on-Year

HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 4th that its operating profit for last year was approximately 248.6 billion won, up about 34.7% from a year earlier.

Last year's revenue was approximately 4.147 trillion won, down 2.6%. Net profit was about 158.1 billion won, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year.

Last year's performance improved in profitability as revenue was recognized from large-scale projects such as Seoul One IPARK, Cheongju Gagyeong IPARK Complex 6, and Suwon IPC Complexes 11 and 12.

A representative of HDC Hyundai Development Company said, "Despite uncertainty in the business environment caused by high interest rates and rising raw material prices, we exceeded our annual order intake target," adding, "As high value-added in-house projects such as Seoul One IPARK and Cheongju Gagyeong, as well as large-scale complexes like Cheonan IPARK City, enter a stable construction phase, growth through increased revenue and strengthened profitability will accelerate further."
