Hanmi Semiconductor Opens Cheongju Office

Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 4th that it will open a new office in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do.

By expanding and opening the new Cheongju office, Hanmi Semiconductor plans to strengthen its support capabilities across customer service personnel, equipment operation, and overall maintenance.

Previously, in 2025, Hanmi Semiconductor enhanced its service by opening its Icheon office in Gyeonggi-do near SK hynix production facilities. In addition, to respond quickly to SK hynix's technical requests, the company has launched and is operating a dedicated TC Bonder 4 team named "Silver Phoenix," which consists of more than 50 skilled semiconductor equipment specialists and 30 eco-friendly hybrid vehicles.

A Hanmi Semiconductor representative said, "Through the Icheon office and the Cheongju office, both located near SK hynix production facilities, we will further solidify our technological partnership with our clients and proactively respond to the demands of advanced semiconductor production sites."

The roots of Hanmi Semiconductor trace back to the technological capabilities accumulated by the late honorary chairman and founder Kwak Nohkwon at Motorola's semiconductor division in the United States starting in 1967. Hanmi Semiconductor has more than 320 clients worldwide and ranks number one globally in the HBM TC Bonder market, a core component of AI semiconductors, with a 71% market share, and also holds the top position in the Micro Saw Vision Placement (MSVP) market.
