LG Innotek is set to unveil a wide range of automotive lighting technologies, including its new product 'Nexlide Pixel', in Germany, the birthplace of the automobile.

On February 3, LG Innotek announced that it will showcase its innovative vehicle lighting technologies at the 39th Lighting Workshop organized by Driving Vision News (DVN), an academic association in the automotive electronics sector. DVN, headquartered in France, is a prestigious professional media outlet and academic society in the automotive parts industry. The DVN Lighting Workshop will take place on February 4 and 5 at the Olympia Park exhibition center in Munich, Germany.

At this event, the company will operate an exclusive exhibition booth to present its new Nexlide products. Among the highlights are 'Nexlide Air', which features a silicon-based ultra-lightweight material optimized for thin and lightweight bumper and grille lighting, and 'Nexlide Pixel', which has reduced the size of lighting pixels to 2mm x 2mm-the smallest in the world-dramatically improving resolution. LG Innotek previously received an Innovation Award for Nexlide Pixel at CES 2026.

Nexlide Pixel is recognized for enhancing V2X (Vehicle to Everything) communication capabilities, as it allows high-definition display of everything from basic text to images through vehicle lighting. For example, in emergency situations, the lettering function can be used to communicate the internal situation of the vehicle to the outside, or drivers can display custom-made emoticons to express their personality.

Additionally, the company will exhibit 'Nexlide Cube', which uses a multi-layer structure to create a floating effect (a visual effect that makes light appear to float in the air), and 'Nexlide C+', which features a '3D multi-effect' that displays different images depending on the viewing angle.

Following the workshop, LG Innotek plans to accelerate its push into the European automotive market by holding a roadshow for major European OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers. Through these efforts, the company aims to grow its vehicle lighting business into a trillion-won-scale operation by 2030. Last year, LG Innotek actively promoted its European market expansion by hosting a 'Vehicle Lighting Solution Webinar' for European automakers and automotive parts customers, among other promotional activities.

Yoo Byungguk, Executive Vice President and Head of the Mobility Solutions Division at LG Innotek, stated, "LG Innotek will continue to introduce innovative lighting solutions that deliver differentiated customer experiences, and will become a trusted technology partner not only in North America, but also in the European and Japanese markets."
