On this day, the KOSPI index opened at 5,122.62, down 101.74 points (1.95%) from the previous session, but has since narrowed its losses. The KOSDAQ started at 1,117.17, down 32.27 points (2.81%), while the won-dollar exchange rate opened at 1,451.0 won, up 11.5 won.
