YG Entertainment announced on February 2 that the music video for BLACKPINK's "As If It's Your Last" has surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube. This milestone comes approximately 8 years and 7 months after the video was released on June 22, 2017.
With this achievement, BLACKPINK now has a total of five videos with over 1.5 billion views. Previously, the music video for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" reached 2.3 billion views, "Kill This Love" 2.1 billion views, "BOOMBAYAH" 1.8 billion views, and the choreography video for "How You Like That" hit 1.9 billion views.
BLACKPINK has recorded a total of 50 videos with over 10 million views on YouTube. The group's channel currently has 99.7 million subscribers, the highest among all artists worldwide. Their cumulative views have surpassed 4.11 billion.
"As If It's Your Last" is a dance track known for its addictive lyrics. It topped the iTunes Song Chart in 74 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2017, it was also named the "Most-Loved K-pop Video in the World."
Recently, BLACKPINK completed their "Deadline" world tour, which spanned 33 shows in 16 cities, and became the first female K-pop artist to perform at Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom. The group is set to release their third mini album, "Deadline," at 2 p.m. on the 27th.
