According to the project plan, the development will have a total floor area of 213,262.1 square meters, a floor area ratio of up to 500%, and will consist of eight buildings ranging from five basement levels to 35 above-ground floors. A total of 1,300 public housing units are expected to be supplied.
The housing supply will include 896 units for public sale, 130 profit-sharing units, and 274 public rental units. The complex will be developed as a residential community without distinctions between for-sale and rental units (social mix approach). Following approval of the complex project plan, construction is scheduled to begin in 2028, with completion targeted for 2032.
In January of this year, the district completed the formation of resident representative councils for all five urban public housing complex projects currently underway in the area. Starting with the project site near Yongma Tunnel, which received approval for its complex project plan in December of last year, the district plans to select construction companies and hold design competitions for all project sites within this year.
Ryu Gyeonggi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, "Through public-led urban public housing complex projects, we are ensuring a stable housing supply. At the same time, we are accelerating private redevelopment and Moa Town projects in line with Seoul’s Rapid Integrated Planning 2.0. We will focus our administrative capacity to ensure that the overall residential environment in Jungnang-gu is gradually improved through these efforts."
