Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on January 30 that it will launch an advertising campaign to boost recruitment of its exclusive insurance planners, featuring the main slogan, "You Are the Perfect Fit."
The company explained that its goal is to redefine its exclusive insurance planners, known as RCs (Risk Consultants), as financial experts nurtured by Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. Through this, the company aims to provide a distinct professional identity that sets them apart from competitors and to improve public perception of insurance planners. It also expects to lower the psychological barriers to entering the RC profession. For current RCs, the campaign is intended to instill pride in their work.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance operates a variety of training programs and systems to enhance the expertise and sales capabilities of its RCs. As a result, the company produces the highest number of "Blue Ribbon Consultants"-a qualification system that selects only the top 1% of non-life insurance planners in Korea. This group accounts for 32% of all RCs at the company. Recently, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance launched the "N-Job Crew," an organization for planners who can work as RCs while maintaining their primary jobs.
The company stated that the slogan "You Are the Perfect Fit" encourages individuals to carry over the skills and social experience they have accumulated so far into a new career as an RC at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. The average age of those starting their careers as RCs is in their 40s to 50s, and many have previous experience in other industries. Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance aims to highlight this point by presenting the RC role as a path for financial professionals to continue building on their past careers.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance plans to continue its communication efforts beyond a single advertisement, ensuring that both the general public and current RCs remember and utilize the campaign. The company will place newspaper ads targeting office workers nearing retirement, self-employed individuals considering a career change, and homemakers looking to re-enter the workforce. It will also release interview videos and digital advertising content featuring actual RCs as the main characters.
A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance said, "This campaign is not a one-off advertisement for planner recruitment, but a systematic branding initiative aimed at improving perceptions of the profession and revitalizing recruitment of new RCs. We will continue to deliver the message of growing together with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance through a variety of advertising content."
