Kyobo Life has continued its overseas training program for the children of outstanding exclusive financial planners (FPs) for over 20 years, drawing significant attention. This initiative is a reflection of the people-centered management philosophy of Kyobo Life Chairman and CEO Shin Changjae, who believes that the happiness of planner families directly translates into genuine protection for customers.

Launched in 2004 as the first program of its kind in the industry, this initiative is held regularly every summer in Canada and every winter in New Zealand. To date, more than 3,000 participants have taken part in the program.
This year, participating students attended level-based English classes and a global leadership program at a prestigious private school in Auckland.
After classes, students experienced New Zealand's nature and culture firsthand by visiting a Maori folk village and taking a harbor cruise. They also improved their language skills through local homestays and participated in overseas volunteer activities.
The driving force behind Kyobo Life's commitment to the education of planners' children is Chairman Shin's management philosophy. He has consistently emphasized that life insurance is a "story of love," rooted in mutual aid, and that planners are the ones who bring this value to life in the field.
In particular, Shin believes that planners are not simply salespeople who sell products, but are protection experts who help clients return to their daily lives through the entire process of insurance enrollment, maintenance, and claims. Generous support for their families leads to the happiness and pride of planners, which in turn results in sincere protection services for customers. This belief in a virtuous cycle has driven Kyobo Life's long-term support for more than 20 years.
Kyobo Life also reported that it operates a comprehensive support system to nurture exclusive planners into the industry's top protection experts. In 2012, the company became the first in the industry to establish a dedicated support center for planner consultants. By introducing an AI-powered protection analysis supporter, Kyobo Life enables planners to provide customers with more reliable information quickly.
Additionally, Kyobo Life hosts events such as Kyobo MDRT DAY, conducts planner satisfaction surveys, and holds meetings for outstanding planners, creating an environment where planners can focus on their sales and service activities. This extensive support has contributed to the long-term retention of FPs and improvements in service quality, serving as a key driver in enhancing the value of protection perceived by customers.
A Kyobo Life representative stated, "Supporting overseas training for planners' children is a way to improve the quality of customer service," adding, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that planners can deliver genuine protection services to customers."
