The Mansegu Public Health Center will use the building of the current Seobu Public Health Center's Health Policy Division (1055, 3.1 Manse-ro, Hyangnam-eup). The Hyohyeong-gu Public Health Center will be located at the current Seobu Public Health Center's Health Promotion Division (109, Donghwa Saeteo-gil, Bongdam-eup). The Byeongjeom-gu and Dongtan-gu public health centers will be housed in the existing Dongbu Public Health Center and Dongtan Public Health Center, respectively.
Each public health center will operate with two divisions. The Mansegu Public Health Center will consist of the Health Policy Division and the Health Promotion Division, while the remaining centers will operate with the Health Administration Division and the Health Promotion Division.
The Health Policy Division and Health Administration Division will be responsible for public health administration, pharmaceutical affairs management, mental health, suicide prevention, and infectious disease management and response. The Health Promotion Division will handle health promotion and management, maternal and child health, home visits, and dementia management.
The city plans to strengthen the core functions of public health, such as infectious disease response, health promotion, and protection of vulnerable groups, based on the four-center system. It will also gradually implement customized public health policies that reflect the unique characteristics of each district and the health needs of residents.
Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong City, stated, "We will continue to improve the system so that each district's public health center can respond more flexibly to local characteristics and the health needs of residents."
