On January 27, Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced that it will proceed with the sale of support facility land in the Jungheung and Samdong Districts of the Yeosu National Industrial Complex.
The announcement period runs from January 26 to February 13. The land available for sale includes 25 plots (16,199.3㎡) in Jungheung 2 District-comprising 6 plots for production support facilities and 19 plots for welfare support facilities-and 2 plots (2,187.3㎡) for welfare support facilities in Samdong District.
Depending on the type of business and intended use, the plot sizes range from a minimum of 274㎡ to a maximum of 3,830㎡.
Those wishing to participate in the bidding must first apply for and pass a pre-occupancy review at the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation between February 10 and 13. After passing the review, they can participate in the bidding through the Korea Asset Management Corporation’s electronic asset system (Onbid) from March 3 to 5.
Each plot can only be occupied by businesses and for purposes that comply with the “Yeosu National Industrial Complex Management Master Plan” and the “Yeosu National Industrial Complex Jungheung and Samdong District Development Project Implementation Plan.”
A Yeosu City official stated, “Businesses that are not directly related as specified in the ‘Yeosu National Industrial Complex Management Master Plan’ and the ‘Yeosu National Industrial Complex Jungheung and Samdong District Development Project Implementation Plan’ will be restricted from occupancy. We ask that you thoroughly review the sales announcement before participating in the bidding.”
