The Kyungpook National University College of Veterinary Medicine, led by Dean Park Sangjun, announced that all 57 graduating students were included in the list of successful candidates for the 70th National Veterinary Licensing Examination, released by the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency on January 22, achieving a 100% pass rate.
Out of 541 examinees for this year’s National Veterinary Licensing Examination, 529 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 97.8%.
The Kyungpook National University College of Veterinary Medicine, the only veterinary college in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region, has established an educational system that integrates basic, preventive, clinical, and field-based training.
The college incorporates a wide range of veterinary fields, including large animal medicine, public health, and zoonotic diseases, into its clinical and practical training. In addition, research activities are integrated with education starting from the undergraduate level.
Furthermore, the college is gradually introducing education that reflects the evolving veterinary landscape, such as digital healthcare and data-driven diagnostics, and is improving educational conditions by expanding educational and practical infrastructure, including the construction of a new affiliated animal hospital.
Dean Park Sangjun of Kyungpook National University College of Veterinary Medicine stated, "This 100% pass rate in the national examination once again proves the success of our systematic curriculum and ongoing educational innovation in reliably nurturing outstanding veterinary professionals."
