원본보기 아이콘At the orientation completion ceremony held on the 23rd at Hyundai Group’s headquarters in Yeonji-dong for new managers who joined in the second half of last year, Chairwoman Hyun encouraged the new managers to “act proactively and take on bold challenges.” She added, “As Hyundai Group has always placed people’s growth at the center of its development, your growth is the company’s competitiveness and the foundation for the group’s future innovation and progress.”
Chairwoman Hyun also stated, “Artificial intelligence (AI) provides vast amounts of information with high efficiency,” but emphasized, “The final decisions and actions are entirely up to you.” She highlighted the importance of proactive behavior and action by members in the era of AI transformation.
In her New Year’s address on January 2, Chairwoman Hyun also remarked, “Interpreting the market analyzed by AI data relies on the insight and judgment of our executives and employees,” and called for ‘AI internalization management.’
The event was attended by Chairwoman Hyun and the heads of Hyundai Group affiliates, and included presentations of training achievements, awards for outstanding trainees, and the issuance of appointment letters.
The new managers completed the first stage of Hyundai Group’s onboarding program, “Starting the Hyundai Journey,” over the past month. Over the next year, they will continue with affiliate-specific job training, mentoring, and global trips (overseas field visits) as part of their educational curriculum.
Hyundai Group stated, “We are receiving strong positive feedback by operating a customized onboarding program tailored to Millennials & Gen Z new managers,” and added, “We plan to continue developing various ways to actively communicate with younger members of our workforce.”
