The Bank of Korea announced on January 22, through the release of its "Preliminary Real Gross Domestic Product for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2025," that real GDP in the fourth quarter of last year decreased by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter. However, it increased by 1.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
