Seongnam City to Hold "2026 Seongnam Small and Medium Business Support Program Briefing Session" on the 28th

Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Shin Sangjin), together with the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, will hold the "2026 Seongnam Small and Medium Business Support Program Briefing Session" on January 28 at the main auditorium of the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency (7th floor, KINSTAR Tower, Jeongja-dong).

This briefing session will provide a comprehensive overview of various support programs for small and medium-sized businesses, including funding, exports, research and development (R&D), technology protection, support for small business owners, and employment support, targeting participating companies.

The event will feature a total of 14 organizations, including Seongnam City, the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of SMEs and Startups, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea Technology Finance Corporation, and Korea Credit Guarantee Fund. This will offer Seongnam-based companies the opportunity to learn about the support systems of multiple organizations in one place.

Additionally, on the day of the briefing session, informational booklets about the support programs will be distributed, and 1:1 consultation booths operated by each participating organization will be available to provide customized advice tailored to each company’s situation.

Lee Changjoo, Director of the Management and Safety Office at the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "This briefing session is being held earlier than last year to provide local businesses with information about support programs more quickly," adding, "We hope that more companies will attend, gain a better understanding of the 2026 support programs, and actively utilize them."

The briefing session will begin at 1:30 p.m. on January 28, and will also be broadcast live online via the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency’s YouTube channel.

Companies wishing to participate can pre-register through the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency website, and on-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.
