25th Infantry Division to Conduct Cold Weather Training in Paju, Yangju, and Yeoncheon County

The 25th Infantry Division of the Army will conduct cold weather training for one week each in the areas of Paju and Yangju from January 26 to 30, 2026, and in the areas of Paju, Yangju, and Yeoncheon County from February 9 to 13, 2026.

This training will focus on ensuring the ability to execute winter operation plans through realistic exercises in a safe environment, as well as mastering operational capabilities during both wartime and peacetime and maintaining full military readiness.

A division official stated that, during the training period, a large number of personnel, equipment, and vehicles will be moving along National Routes 37, 367, and 371. Depending on the training situation, partial traffic control may be implemented, and residents are asked for their understanding and active cooperation.

The division plans to operate a safety control team during the training period to minimize inconvenience to residents and prevent safety accidents within the unit.
