Hyundai WIA showed strong performance with a 13% surge, hitting a new 52-week intraday high.
As of 9:36 a.m. on January 8, 2026, Hyundai WIA was trading at 87,700 won on the Korea Exchange, up 10,200 won (13.16%) from the previous day. During the session, the price climbed as high as 95,400 won, marking a new 52-week high.
The announcement of new products at the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, CES 2026, is believed to have driven the stock price higher. On January 7 (local time), at CES 2026, Hyundai WIA unveiled three new automotive thermal management components: the Integrated Thermal Management System (ITMS), a cooling module, and a slim HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system. Hyundai WIA plans to become a global leader in thermal management by 2032, leveraging the thermal management components showcased at this year's CES.
