On January 8, the electronic board at the main branch dealing room of Hana Bank in Jung-gu, Seoul displays the KOSPI, the won-dollar exchange rate, and KOSDAQ, as the KOSPI started lower and continued to fluctuate throughout the session. On this day, the KOSPI opened at 4,531.46, down 19.60 points (0.43%) from the previous session, while the won-dollar exchange rate began at 1,449.7 won, up 3.9 won from the previous session.
