The "7,000 Won Donation Relay" is a campaign to spread small-scale giving, inspired by the idea that if Ulsan's 1.1 million citizens each donate 7,000 won, the "Love Thermometer Tower" fundraising goal of 7.25 billion won can be achieved.
Recently, as participation from city hall and public institutions has increased, S-OIL has become the first private company in the Ulsan area to join, serving as a catalyst to encourage more involvement from the private sector.
Anwar Al Hizazi, CEO of S-OIL, stated, "Small acts of sharing can create great change-that is the power of community solidarity. As a company that has grown together with Ulsan, we will take the lead in sharing activities needed by the local community and hope that many companies and citizens will join this campaign."
S-OIL has carried out various sharing activities centered around its Ulsan plant, including support for vulnerable groups, scholarship programs, and social contribution projects in the environment and safety sectors. With its participation in the "7,000 Won Donation Relay," the company plans to contribute even more actively to fostering a culture of giving in the region.
The Ulsan Community Chest of Korea held an unveiling ceremony for the "Love Thermometer Tower" at Ulsan City Hall Plaza on December 1, officially launching the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign."
