Just like the legendary tale of Yeonorang and Seonyeo from the Silla Dynasty, the Yeonoseoho vessel raced across the sea toward a drifting rubber boat whose engine had failed.
On the morning of December 10, Pohang City reported that it had safely rescued a leisure rubber boat that was drifting off the coast of Pohang due to an outboard motor failure.

Upon approaching the scene, it was confirmed that the boat could not navigate on its own due to the outboard motor failure, making it urgent to secure the safety of those on board.
The drifting location was near the northern breakwater of Yeongilman Port, an area with frequent vessel traffic and a high risk of collision with large ships. The crew of Yeonoseoho immediately transferred the two anglers to safety using the high-speed tender and towed the disabled rubber boat to Yeongilman New Port without incident.
A city official stated, "Thanks to the quick judgment and response of our staff on site, the rescue was completed without any further damage," and urged, "As marine leisure activities are increasing recently, please be sure to follow basic safety rules, such as checking equipment and fuel before departure."
