On December 10, Jang Donghyuk, leader of the People Power Party, Song Eonseok, floor leader, and other party executives began a tent sit-in in front of the main building of the National Assembly to block the passage of contentious bills promoted by the Democratic Party of Korea. The People Power Party plans to continue the protest until what they call the "eight major harmful bills" are stopped.
