LH to Offer Newlywed Hope Town Apartments in Gunpo, Gyeonggi for Around 400 Million Won

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) is set to offer new apartments for sale in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, with prices in the 400 million won range. On December 9, LH announced that applications have opened for public sale housing at the Gunpo Daeyami District A-2 Block Newlywed Hope Town.

The Gunpo Daeyami District A-2 Block consists of a total of 1,511 units. It is a mixed complex of public sale and Happy Housing units, with 1,003 public sale units being offered in this phase. The units are divided into 946 units of 55 square meters and 57 units of 59 square meters in exclusive area. For the main application (general application), 439 units are available, excluding the 564 units previously allocated through early application as of the announcement date.

The 59-square-meter duplex units feature separated living and bedroom areas. The complex will have a maximum of 28 floors across 19 buildings, with move-in scheduled for August 2029. There is a three-year restriction on resale, but no obligation for actual residence. Due to the price cap system, the average price for a 55-square-meter unit is set at around 410 million won.

Applicants can reduce the financial burden by using a special mortgage loan product exclusive to Newlywed Hope Town. Up to 70% of the home price (up to 400 million won) can be financed for up to 30 years at an annual interest rate of 1.3%. Applications for early lottery winners are being accepted for two days starting today, and the main application process will take place on December 10 and 11. Winners will be announced on December 19, and contracts will be signed in April next year.

The complex will feature a variety of childcare-friendly community spaces, including a daycare center, a group care center, and a small library. It is also close to planned kindergartens, elementary, and middle schools within the district. The model home can be viewed at the LH Dongtan Housing Exhibition Hall, and the interior layout can also be explored on the sales website.

The Gunpo Daeyami District is bordered by Sanbon and Pyeongchon to the north, and Ansan and Uiwang to the south. It is conveniently located near Daeyami Station on Subway Line 4 and the Gunpo Interchange. The area is adjacent to major arterial roads such as National Route 47, the Yeongdong Expressway, and the Suwon-Gwangmyeong Expressway. Once the GTX C Line of the metropolitan express railway is completed, it will be possible to reach Samseong Station from Geumjeong Station in about 20 minutes. Nearby, there are various lifestyle and cultural facilities such as Chomakgol Ecological Park, Emart Traders, the Gunpo National Sports Center, as well as the Gunpo Integrated Logistics Terminal, Gunpo Advanced Industrial Complex, and Uiwang Technopark.
