On December 5, Pohang City held the "2025 Hydrogen Specialized Complex Investment Attraction Briefing" at KINTEX in Ilsan, introducing the investment environment and corporate support policies of the Pohang Hydrogen Specialized Complex to companies related to hydrogen fuel cells.

During the event, detailed explanations were provided on the Hydrogen Specialized Complex and Hydrogen Fuel Cell Certification Center, investment incentives and corporate support systems, and the Energy Advanced Industry Venture Fund. The plans and direction for the establishment of the Hydrogen Specialized Complex were presented in detail.
In particular, as the hydrogen fuel cell cluster is set to be fully established, the organizers provided detailed information on the core infrastructure, testing and evaluation capabilities, and demonstration environment that are of greatest interest to companies. They emphasized that the specialized complex will grow into a hydrogen industry hub for the entire hydrogen industry cycle in Korea, leading demonstration and commercialization efforts.
During the subsequent Q&A session, various on-site opinions and challenges were raised, including support for company relocation, securing specialized personnel, and methods for utilizing demonstration infrastructure. Pohang City stated that it would work with relevant institutions to develop effective support measures.
The city explained that this briefing is expected to raise awareness of the Hydrogen Specialized Complex, strengthen networks between companies and institutions, and expand the foundation for attracting investment.
A city official stated, "The Pohang Hydrogen Specialized Complex is pursuing the establishment of comprehensive infrastructure covering the entire hydrogen industry cycle," adding, "We will create an environment where companies can invest with confidence and make Pohang the center of Korea's hydrogen industry."
