BNK Busan Bank Magazine "Busan Bank Story" Wins Korea Communication Award

BNK Busan Bank (CEO Bang Sungbin) announced on December 8 that its company magazine, "Busan Bank Story," received the National Assembly Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee Chairman's Award in the printed external magazine category at the "2025 Korea Communication Awards."

Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the Korea Communication Awards is a leading professional awards ceremony in Korea, organized by the Korea Magazine Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and others. The event annually selects outstanding examples to improve the quality of organizational communication materials such as company magazines.

First published in 1968, "Busan Bank Story" is the flagship magazine that has accompanied the history of Busan Bank. In 2024, it underwent a renewal to significantly strengthen customer lifestyle-based content, including personalized asset management, financial trends, and culture, arts, and humanities content.

Interactive features such as "Wellstar Lounge," a space for premium customer participation, and "Empathy Story," which covers ESG and management issues, were also evaluated as factors that increased reader engagement.

"Busan Bank Story" was also recognized for its professionalism and competitiveness as a leading regional external magazine, having won the bronze award in the external publication category at the "2025 International Business Awards (IBA)" in October.

Kim Yongkyu, Head of Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, stated, "This achievement is the result of our ongoing efforts to enhance content quality and strengthen communication with customers," adding, "We will continue to develop the magazine to provide meaningful information to the local community and our customers."
