The Gwangmyeong Disabled Family Support Center is an affiliated organization of the Gwangmyeong Branch of the Gyeonggi Disabled Parents Solidarity, and carries out a variety of programs for local people with disabilities and their families, including advocacy, education, counseling, and disability awareness improvement initiatives.

The donated items consist of granola and nut sets, which will be delivered to families with disabilities who use the Gwangmyeong Disabled Family Support Center.

Jeong Daekyo, Head of the Human Resources Support Department at KB Securities, said, "As we close out the year, I hope that these small gifts will help families with disabilities welcome the New Year with warmth. Since this donation was initiated by a request from the recipient organization, I hope that KB Securities' sincerity will reach even more people."

In line with KB Financial Group's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management focused on 'care' and 'mutual growth,' KB Securities has consistently purchased Bravo Beaver products and donated them to welfare organizations since 2023. In 2023, the company supported two welfare organizations with products worth approximately 83 million won, and in 2024, it provided about 206 million won worth of goods to four welfare organizations. In March of this year, granola and nut sets were delivered to children in educational welfare blind spots.

In addition, KB Securities continues to make efforts to create jobs for people with disabilities. The company directly hires 'health keepers' (visually impaired massage therapists) to provide massage services to seniors with dementia and low-income seniors living alone, and operates the 'Seomseom Oksu' program, which employs women with severe disabilities to provide nail care to railway passengers, among other initiatives.

As a result of these efforts, KB Securities has exceeded and maintained a 100% mandatory employment rate for people with disabilities from August last year through the end of this year, faithfully fulfilling its social responsibility.
