Yangju City Holds Soybean Combine Demonstration for Field Crop Production and Cultivation Complex Project

Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province held the "2025 Field Crop Production and Cultivation Complex Project Soybean Combine Demonstration" on December 2 at Hapaeri, Eunhyeon-myeon, together with about 20 members of the Eunhyeon Agricultural Cooperative, led by Cooperative President Jeong Seolhwa.

This demonstration event was part of a project aimed at reducing production costs and increasing yields by scaling up and mechanizing field crop production complexes. Yangju City Mayor Yang Soo-hyun personally participated in the soybean combine demonstration, experiencing the work process and engaging in discussions with local farmers.

Jeong Seolhwa, President of the Eunhyeon Agricultural Cooperative, stated, "I hope today's demonstration will help improve work efficiency and reduce production costs, ultimately leading to increased farm income. I also hope this will serve as an opportunity for the region’s agriculture to shift toward more competitive field crop-focused production."

Yang Soo-hyun, Mayor of Yangju City, said, "I hope that the use of the soybean combine, purchased through the Field Crop Production and Cultivation Complex Project, will invigorate joint farming and increase productivity for more farmers, serving as a turning point to help alleviate the difficulties faced by local farmers."
