Earlier this year, she participated as an invited player in the LPGA Tour's Lotte Championship and claimed victory. She is set to make her debut on the U.S. tour next year. For Yumin Hwang, who has three career wins on the KLPGA Tour, this will be her final opportunity to meet fans before heading to the United States.
The total prize money for the Baeksong Holdings and Busan Ilbo Charity Match is 300 million won. The winning team will receive 200 million won, while the runner-up team will receive 100 million won. There will be three singles match play games each day, for a total of six matches over two days. The event will also feature player walking interviews and players wearing microphones during play-features rarely seen on the regular tour-making the on-site experience even more enjoyable. Fifty percent of the prize money will be donated to charitable causes.
