This class was designed as a small-scale, customized program for about 20 participants who were new to park golf. It was part of Ulleung County's initiative to diversify local sports offerings and improve residents' access to recreational sports.

The lifelong education program for park golf consisted of a total of four hours, structured to make it easy for beginners to learn the sport through both theory and practice.

The theoretical session was held in the La Perouse seminar room, providing essential instruction on basic park golf techniques, equipment usage, game rules, and etiquette.

The practical training took place at the La Perouse Park Golf Course, with participants divided into four teams of four. Under the guidance of an instructor, participants learned the fundamentals of park golf by playing rounds on the course, practicing swings, distance control, and course strategy. They also learned about scoring methods and sportsmanship through actual gameplay, which further increased their interest in park golf.

County Mayor Nam Han-gwon stated, "This Park Golf Beginner Class was a meaningful program that helped residents enjoy healthy recreational sports and enrich their leisure time. We will continue to operate lifelong learning programs that reflect the diverse interests and needs of our residents, further strengthening Ulleung County's lifelong learning culture."
