Daejeon Technopark announced that six robotics companies from the Daejeon region will participate in the "Daejeon K-Robot Joint Pavilion" at the "2025 Tokyo International Robot Exhibition (iREX 2025)," which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan from December 3 to 6, 2025, to present their technologies.

iREX is one of the world’s top three robot exhibitions, co-hosted by the Japan Robot Association (JARA) and Nikkei Inc. This year, more than 600 companies from 15 countries will participate, introducing advanced technologies such as industrial and service robots, artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous driving, sensors, and motion control, under the theme of robot-AI convergence and digital transformation.

Daejeon Technopark, together with Daejeon Metropolitan City and the Korea AI & Robotics Industry Association, will operate the "Daejeon K-Robot Joint Pavilion." Six local robotics companies specializing in communications, drones, autonomous robots, grippers, and precision positioning will showcase their outstanding technologies and seek opportunities for collaboration with Japanese and global buyers.

The participating companies are: Skytech (drone-based energy infrastructure diagnostics technology), CNOREX (high-precision RTK GPS solutions), Thingrip (electric grippers for industrial and collaborative robots), Mplat (AI-based autonomous guide robots), Comesta (digital wireless transmission and reception systems), and Korea Information System (KIS, high-precision drone and security solutions). Each company will focus on presenting its core technologies.

Through this exhibition, Daejeon Technopark aims to strengthen connections with the global market, including Japan, accelerate follow-up support for practical outcomes such as technology cooperation, exports, and joint research, and help Daejeon’s robotics companies effectively promote their technological excellence and product competitiveness in the global market.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "Participating in iREX is an opportunity for Daejeon’s robotics companies to directly prove their technological capabilities in the global market. Daejeon Technopark will continue to provide close support even after the exhibition to ensure that Daejeon companies can stably enter the global robotics value chain, and will actively back efforts to achieve visible results in technology cooperation and overseas expansion."
