This event was hosted by Taebaek City and organized by the Korea Drone Technology Cooperative Association, with support from Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Taebaek City Council, and other local organizations. It served as a meaningful occasion to foster a foundation for career exploration through AI and drone convergence education and to promote collaboration within the local community.

The competition featured a student-led, participatory drone contest and a variety of hands-on programs.

Through experience booths such as drone racing practice, balloon popping, and drone simulation, as well as a drone exhibition zone and photo zone, students and parents were able to experience future technologies firsthand.

In particular, a certificate awarding ceremony was held for 12 students who participated in the "Visiting Drone Classroom" program and obtained one of four types of national drone licenses, enhancing their sense of achievement and motivation for career development.

This competition aimed to increase students' interest in the drone field and raise their career awareness. It also drew attention as an opportunity to explore the potential for expanding AI technology education beyond the classroom through hands-on drone piloting experiences and collaboration with local specialized organizations such as the Korea Drone Technology Cooperative Association.

Superintendent Kwon Sungja stated, "I hope that through this drone competition, students will be able to nurture their dreams about future career paths and take their first steps into the era of artificial intelligence on their own initiative. We will continue to actively support future-oriented education centered on students by providing various career exploration opportunities in collaboration with the local community."
