Samjin Fish Cake Opens Winter "Samjin Pocha Season 4" with Enhanced Seasonal Menu and Cocktail Lineup

Gwangalli Rooftop Pocha Maintains Its Cozy Winter Vibes and SNS Popularity

The pop-up rooftop bar "Samjin Pocha," operated by the K-fish cake brand Samjin Fish Cake (CEO Park Yongjun) in Gwangalli, Busan, has newly opened "Season 4" to welcome the winter season. The operation period runs until February 28.

Samjin Pocha has established itself as a hot spot in Gwangalli, with a cumulative total of 50,000 visitors and an average of 3,000 monthly visitors. It has gained a reputation on social media as a "view spot," and on the day of the Busan Fireworks Festival in November, a waiting line formed from the morning, and entry closed after just three hours. During the weekly Friday and Saturday drone shows, more than 40 groups on average register for on-site waiting, further proving its popularity.

This Season 4 features a renewed menu and the addition of seasonal dishes, enhancing the cozy winter pocha atmosphere. Limited-time seasonal menu items include "Steamed Oysters" and "Shellfish Fish Cake Soup." Fresh oysters, a seasonal seafood, are steamed in a large steamer and offered with unlimited refills. The main dish, premium skewered fish cake soup, is enriched with various shellfish to enhance its flavor.

Along with existing popular menu items such as "Grab-a-Bite Crispy Chips," udon meal kits, fish cake noodle tteokbokki, and self-serve ramen, guests can also enjoy a limited-time fish cake patty dish in collaboration with the seafood handmade burger brand "Viking Whos."

The selection of alcoholic beverages and drinks has also been expanded. In addition to Lotte Chilsung Beverage's Baekhwahoobok and Cheongha, OB Beer’s Cass, Daesun Distilling’s Daesun and Gangalli, Bohae Brewery’s Bokbunjabrother and Maechwisoon, and Hwayo’s Hwayo Highball, five varieties of highballs using Horeca solution company Heungkuk F&B's cocktail base "Vibe Mix" are also available. "Vibe Mix" allows for easy creation of high-quality cocktails with just alcohol and sparkling water, featuring real fruit concentrate for enhanced flavor.

For the first time this season, a "Standing Fish Cake" area has been set up on the outdoor terrace, recreating the cozy experience of enjoying hot fish cake soup in the winter breeze.

Park Yongjun, CEO of Samjin Fish Cake, stated, "Thanks to the continued support for Samjin Pocha, we were able to open Season 4," adding, "We aim to deliver the unique warmth and romance of Samjin Pocha’s winter through seasonal menu items and various collaborations."

Samjin Pocha’s partner companies are each leveraging their brand characteristics to strengthen winter season marketing and enhance customer experience. OB Beer is planning sports events in connection with its official partnership with the Korea Football Association, while Daesun Distilling is reinforcing its "Daesun and Gangalli" lineup and continuing local community engagement. Bohae Brewery is targeting Millennials & Gen Z by expanding its fruit wine lineup and obtaining international quality certifications, and Lotte Chilsung Beverage is increasing brand touchpoints through official sponsorship of camping and outdoor activities.
