'Captain of the Charge' Hwang Yumin received the most love from fans.
On November 28, at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Hwang Yumin won the Popularity Award at the 2025 Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Awards Ceremony. This marks her second consecutive win. The Popularity Award is determined by online voting from golf fans. Along with the trophy, she received a Lineroje sofa worth approximately 8 million won as a prize.
This year, Hwang Yumin, who won the Lotte Championship on the LPGA Tour, also received the Overseas Special Award. By winning on the LPGA Tour, she will compete on the U.S. stage starting next year.
Yoo Hyunjoo became a double winner by claiming both the Wemade Grand Prize and the Lowest Stroke Average Award. Hong Jungmin earned the honor of this year's Money Leader. Bang Shinsil, Lee Yewon, and Hong Jungmin each secured three victories, sharing the title of Most Wins.
Seo Gyolim received the Rookie of the Year Award, while Ko Jiweon was honored with the Skill Improvement Award presented by the golf press corps. Hwang Yuna was crowned the Dream Tour Money Leader, and Choi Hyejeong took the Champions Tour Money Leader title. Lee Soyoung and Choi Minkyeong, who have played on the KLPGA Tour for 10 consecutive years, were inducted into the K-10 Club.
