The curriculum is field-oriented, covering everything from analysis of the nail industry, planning of business items, hand and foot care and gel nail practice, design composition, drill machine operation, portfolio production, to practical training for opening a nail salon.
One of the program’s key features is its integrated practical training covering all aspects of entrepreneurship, including business plan writing, marketing strategy development, and customer management exercises, thereby enhancing educational effectiveness.
Han Juhwa, who completed this course, recently opened and is now operating her own nail salon, “Raon Nail.” She said, “The hands-on training allowed me to develop my entrepreneurial skills in a short period of time,” adding, “I highly recommend this program to anyone preparing to start a beauty business.”
Lim Junwoo, Head of the RISE Project Group (Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation), emphasized, “This entrepreneurial case is a meaningful achievement, as it demonstrates that practical education linked to the local community leads to real results. We will further expand entrepreneurship education so that adult learners can design sustainable careers in the region.”
