On the 27th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held the ‘2025 Gyeonggi Province Tourism Theme Alley’ Performance Exchange Meeting at Suwon Convention Center.
This event was organized to share best practices and promote sustainable operational strategies and self-sufficiency by reviewing this year’s achievements in the Tourism Theme Alley project and facilitating networking among regions.
The event included presentations on new alley operation cases, sharing of outstanding alley achievements, and a special lecture by an expert titled “Beyond Alleys, Toward Local Brands.”

원본보기 아이콘The ten Tourism Theme Alleys selected this year are: Yeoncheon Cheotmeori Street, Yongin Bojeong-dong Cafe Street, Goyang Samsong Graffiti Art Alley, Dongducheon Camp Bosan Street, Suwon Hwaseong Haengnidan-gil, Siheung Oido Sea Street, Ansan Wongok-dong Multicultural Food Street, Paju Doldari Cultural Village, Pocheon Gwanin Cultural Village, and Hwaseong Jeongok-ri Marina Alley.
An official from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, “This year, we enhanced the quality of the Tourism Theme Alley project by tailoring it to the unique characteristics and identities of each region. We hope that through the Performance Exchange Meeting, a wide range of experiences and know-how will be actively shared, laying the foundation for these alleys to become central to regional tourism.”
The Tourism Theme Alley project has been underway since 2020, aiming to foster alleys that reflect the unique culture and identity of each region as tourism resources, thereby revitalizing local tourism and strengthening the self-sufficiency of these alleys.
