Korea Fintech Week 2025 is the largest annual global fintech expo in Korea, hosted by the Financial Services Commission and featuring leading fintech companies. The event has been held over three days since November 26.

BC Card presented its financial infrastructure export strategy and expected benefits for pioneering new export markets. Leveraging its expertise in operating payment networks accumulated domestically and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the company has exported QR-based payment infrastructure and nationwide integrated payment systems, primarily to emerging markets.

BC Card provides customized payment platforms tailored to each country's regulations and market characteristics, and pursues various initiatives to promote financial inclusion and digital transformation.

In particular, the company completed the establishment of a cross-border payment network through a partnership with Indonesia's state-owned bank. This partnership generated payment business revenue of approximately 45 billion KRW. Other achievements include building an environment for expanding cashless payments in Vietnam and introducing advanced payment technologies in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, through official development assistance (ODA) projects such as those with KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), BC Card has participated in building payment infrastructure in developing countries. The company is spreading the Korean model of financial digital transformation by providing integrated services, including knowledge transfer, talent development, and operational consulting, to support the self-sufficiency of local financial ecosystems.

Recently, BC Card has also strengthened data business collaboration with overseas financial institutions and fintech companies by launching an AI-based financial big data platform.

The platform offers natural language-based inquiry and analysis functions, focusing on supporting policy development and business decision-making. It also operates sophisticated commercial district services utilizing merchant sales data.

Based on these services, BC Card aims to become an intelligent financial services company by establishing a multi-faceted cooperation system through its global merchant network and AI agent service integration.

Woo Sanghyun, Vice President of BC Card, stated, "Public-private collaboration is a key driver for entering overseas financial markets, so the government and private sector must pool strategic resources and capabilities to secure global competitiveness," adding, "We will do our utmost to proactively secure new markets and opportunities for sustainable growth."
