He claimed his first victory at the 66th KPGA Championship in June 2023, and secured his second career win at The Charity Classic last month. This year, he ranked 7th in both the Genesis Points standings (3,950 points) and the prize money rankings (515.5 million won).
He has been challenging the PGA Tour Q-School for four consecutive years since 2022, aiming to reach the "stage of his dreams." Although he has advanced to the second stage each time, he has yet to reach the final round. If he finishes within the top five in the final stage, he will earn a PGA Tour card for next year.
Seungbin Choi stated, "After passing the first stage of the PGA Tour Q-School, I have been focusing on sharpening my game. There is pressure since it is such an important stage, but I am also very excited." He added, "I have been maintaining good form this year. I will play my own game until the very end."
