This exhibition is the first cultural event to be held inside the station since the opening of Subway Line 8, offering citizens using the subway an opportunity to naturally appreciate the beauty of traditional crafts in their daily lives.

Celebrating its 19th anniversary this year, the Guri City Craft Artists Association consists of 40 craft artists across 15 fields. The exhibition features master artisans who have dedicated as little as 30 years and up to over 50 years to their craft, presenting high-quality works that embody tradition and technique. The pieces are made using various materials such as wood, clay, shells, fabric, paper, metal, glycerol, and beeswax, highlighting the unique textures and craftsmanship inherent to each medium.

At the opening ceremony held on November 25, Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, remarked, "It feels quite special to hold an exhibition at a subway station rather than in a professional gallery," adding, "As crafts are an important art form that captures human emotion and creativity, I hope this exhibition allows citizens to discover meaning and happiness in their lives." He also encouraged the participating artists.

Seo Inseok, President of the Guri City Craft Artists Association, stated, "It is very meaningful for our association to host the first cultural event inside the station just 15 months after the opening of Line 8," and added, "I hope that citizens passing through the waiting room can momentarily set aside the fatigue of daily life and gain a bit of vitality by viewing the crafts."

This members' exhibition features works from 20 craft artists, including Kim Kyungsun, Kim Sangyun, Kim Sookhee, Kim Younggon, Kim Yongkyum, Kim Jongpil, Seo Inseok, Ahn Jonggu, Yang Sunseok, Lee Sangmok, Lee Ikjong, Lee Jeongran, Lee Jongbeom, Jeong Taesu, Cho Guiok, Cho Yongjun, and Han Cheolsu, showcasing a diverse range of fields.
